Before I commit to RootsMagic 11 upgrade, I’d like to ask has the problem “Argument out of Range” been fixed, in the new software.

I never did commit to RM 8, 9 or 10 and still use RM7 for my primary means of data entry since it has proven itself to be extremely stable. I did use RM10 for several months to match with FamilySearch and never had the “Argument out of Range” message I recall. I downloaded RM11 yesterday and auto matched it to FamilySearch. From what I can see thus far, it is more user friendly and looks to make data entry easier. I have not had any error messages thus far. It appears that Bruce included some of the features that some of us missed from version 7.
I never used RM7 since I’m on a Mac, but this new version is pretty sweet. It definitely reduces user clicking.
I don’t think we know just yet. It’s a common problem, but it’s not repeatable. That makes it very hard for the developers to fix.
