Using colour coding to indicate membership of group on displays/lists

I use a group to indicate my direct ancestors. I also use a colour code to indicate the same on displays and lists. I know I can manually set a colour code to all members of a group, and I can populate a group based on colour codes….which works fine. But as soon as I add a person who is an ancestor and add them to my ancestor group, I then have to manually add the colour code.
Is there a way to link a colour code to a group so that when someone is added to the group, then the color code is automatically added? If not, may I raise this as a feature request. Note that removal from the group ought to be linked in a similar way.

There is nothing like that for color coding which is automatic. I think it would be a great feature as a future enhancement.

However, I think the most benefit would come if there could be an entire color coding scheme which is automated - such as color this group red and that group green and some other group blue, all as a part of some sort of comprehensive scheme.

I actually do have such a comprehensive color coding scheme, but it couldn’t be accomplished from within RM. So I do it with an SQLite script. But SQLite scripts are not recommended or supported by the RM developers, and such scripts require programming skills. So it would be much better if comprehensive color coding schemes could be accomplished directly from within the RM user interface.

Thanks for your reply. Lets see if this is picked up and considered for inclusion in a future release.
