yes. There have been many improvements since RM9 that you will enjoy. The complete list is here. News and Announcements - RootsMagic Community

There’s currently a problem with TreeShare affecting some users that the development team has acknowledged, so there will be more updates coming but that’s no reason to delay imo.

[edit: features like ‘Copy Fact’ and enhancements to Search and Groups come to mind. There’s also a lot of smaller improvements to Tools.]

you could wait for a special (Maybe first of July) but yes worth upgrade Special price or not- many improvements – Ancestry’s API 2.0 did cause some issues.

if you are thinking to wait more than 6 months - you could wait until 2027 and see if ver 12 comes out - but if you buy 11 and v12 comes out a very short time later you may get it for free or much reduced price

Just my personal opinion, but I don’t think there are any good and valid reasons to stay on RM8 or RM9 or RM10 - except for the cost of the upgrade - when RM11 is so much better. The new problems with Ancestry aren’t an issue with RM8 or RM9 or RM10 because none of them work with Ancestry any more anyway.

I do think there can be good and valid reasons to stay on RM7. That’s a very personal choice that each user has to make for themselves. I can’t say without question that I think RM11 is better than RM7 or that RM7 is better than RM11. It really depends on a lot of factors. But again as a personal opinion, I do think that RM11 is much better than RM8 or RM9 or RM10. I’m just a user and I don’t work for RootsMagic. I’m a sample size of 1 and your mileage may vary.
