I know the Roots Magic app still works on my iPad. I did discover the app will not recognize the RM9 files. So if I want to use the app on IOS and you want an updated database, I need to retain RM7?
I don’t have RM9 because it is superseded by RM10, which has File>Export>Dropbox for use by the IOS app.
I have databases on my IOS devices from RM7, RM8, RM9, and RM10. They all work fine.
As already mentioned, for RM8/9/10 you need to create the file for IOS devices via File > Export > Dropbox.
I thank both of you for that answer. I was not going to post that question, because I thought the app was no longer compatible, but so glad I did. Thanks to thejerrybryan for your help with a question I posted a couple of weeks ago. Thanks to you I am now working with RM9 and plan to take advantage of the holiday offer on RM10.
