When I create a narrative report I like to include the primary photo for each individual if I have one. This works great for all generations except for the children of the most recent generation. If the child has a partner or children of their own then they get a ‘+’ indicating such but they do not get a photo. I think photos should be displayed for all children of the last generation not just hose that have no partner or children.
With the plus it is showing that line is continued, which is where the picture should be on the NGSQ and NEHGS narratives. The other three descendant narratives Outline, Henry and D’Aboville don’t even mention the children of the couples listed in the last generation. If you don’t want a report that shows a continuation of a line then you could pick one of those. Just make the report one generation larger if you did want the children included.
If you want a custom narrative you would need to manually add the photos in an editor.
to clarify, i generated a 1 generation file which creates details for the parents and the children with no plus signs (in this case) and the photo shows for the parents and the children that are not married/no children but there is no photo for the children if they are married/with children. I would expect that in this case all children should have a photo.
I was hoping this got resolved in RM11 but it didn’t. I’m on Windows 10.
