I have lost the link to my Ancestry tree. I don’t want to up or download. Why does the reset not link them? Is the extension on RM8 now .rmtree? I can’t go back to a previous backup as it appears that my backups are overwriting previous backups instead of adding another backup. So it is not possible to go back to a previous backup.
As far as the naming of the backups, it sounds like you need click on the setting tab and click on the first icon at the top (the one with the three lines) and make sure you have ‘add date to backup file name’ checked.
I do have add date to backup, but not sure when I did this as I have been watching videos and poking around as I learn about RM8. Thanks for your suggestion. I know that is on now.
