Keep Problem List open

The Problem List has an ‘Edit person’ button to take me to that particular person’s Edit screen where I can see exactly what the problem is. That’s good, but what’s missing is an ability to leave the Problem List open and go to the person OUTSIDE of the Problem list. I have to close the Problem List dialog box, and then navigate to the person in the main Pedigree or Family view. Because actually, sometimes the resolution is to edit someone that person is linked to (spouse/child).

I wish to keep the Problem List open so that I can scroll through it. I guess kind of like having multiple databases open at the same time.

I know I can print the list, but right now the list is so long that it doesn’t make sense for me to do that as I would continually be printing it after making corrections.

Confirming request has been reported to development. There are some limitation we have to take into consideration on modeless windows, especially on the Mac.

When you open the Edit Person screen from the Problem List you can still switch to a spouse, child, parent or sibling. On the Spouse and Parents row for the person there is a drop arrow to the right of their name. Click on it to expose the family members. When you click on a name the Edit Persons screen switches to them. Use the back arrow that appears in the upper left of the screen to move back to the previous person.
