Suggesting another choice on the Problem List - “cannot be resolved” or something similar. For instance, “parents married after person’s birth”. Perhaps there is a marriage date source but the only source for birth is date on a cemetery marker or census record. An alternate choice would show a solution has been attempted.
The Problem List isn’t meant to leave people on it long term with a particular status. If you want to remove them from the Problem List mark them “Not a problem”. If you want to research them more click “Add to task list”. If you want to note something on the fact level click on “Edit Person” to use the Proof settings.
