Hi, I’m sure this is something that you all do but I just can’t find the right report from the vast list. Basically, I just want to be able to put all the named facts (Census Year for each Census, DOB, Place of Birth, DOD, Place of Death, DOM, Place of Marriage etc. associated with each person in a spreadsheet so I can clearly see what is missing for each person. A way of helping me to focus my efforts where they are most needed to complete each person. I hope this makes sense.
One of the options to save an “Individual List” is an Excel Spreadsheet.
I would create an “Individual List” for everyone in my database selecting on the information I wanted on the report.
Be aware that my 4300 person database generates 463 pages when I select just Facts For Each Person. Your millage may vary!

It’s not exactly what you are asking for and you can do part of this in People View by adding columns. Well, People View doesn’t support couple facts such as Marriage and Divorce, it supports all individual facts like Birth and Death and Burial. Then you can sort by columns to see missing data. I like this approach because I can work directly from the RM screen to add missing data instead of working from a report.
Individual reports and Custom reports are good tools if you prefer reports or if you need couple facts in addition to individual facts. They can be filtered by group, so you can focus on a specific group of people - like all ancestors of your maternal grandmother, or whatever group you wish to create - rather than dealing with your entire database. And People View can also be filtered by group if you choose to go that direction.

The Fact List report identifies people missing a fact type and can be filtered by a named group. It’s a complement of what you described. Your spreadsheet or table list would have you looking for holes while this report is a list of holes. Not saying that it answers your need but it’s a tool that’s useful in part.

a great way of enhancing your research using Rootsmagic is to export a gedcom file and import it into FTAnalyzer app (it’s FREE) Where you can save as excel and/ or even interrogate the data as to which people are possibly missing from various census

If you are into programming, it can be done with ODBC connectors and SQLite queries but that’s outside the scope of this forum.
seems like a powerful tool. website works for macs but I did not see any way to save or export files.
