Similar to “favorite Source Type” with the star.
It would be nice to have the ability to create a sub-list of fact types: Favorite Fact Types.
First you would choose your favorite fact types with check boxes.
Then on the Person edit screen you would have the choice of all fact types or just your favorites.
I use the search box. Typing bi gets me to the Birth fact. I have to type dea to get to the Death fact.
Confirming favorite fact type request has been reported to development.
The search does respond nicely but there are so many fact types that I NEVER use, I just wish I could make the list shorter.
Make a New Fact Type with a * in the Name so it will be at the top of the Fact List.
Look at the Fact you’d like to be a Favorite and copy that info to make your new fact with * in the name.
Not recommended for Birth, Christen, Death, Burial or Marriage facts. A copied fact type will not be used where the default ones appear in the program.
