After getting my Ancestry tree in a mess, I thought that I would be able to delete my Ancestry tree and just reload my tree from RootsMagic 11, unfortunately I keep getting the message “Connected Tree Not Found” along with these explanations:-
I’ve tried disconnecting from Ancestry, logging out from Ancestry, renaming my tree and even copying my tree and uploading the copy, nothing works, what am I doing wrong?
Any help appreciated.
Go to Settings, WebHints and click on “Disconnect from Ancestry Tree”. That will remove the link to the non-existing tree.
Thank you Renee, unfortunately that didn’t work, the same little box still comes up. I’ve logged out from Ancestry and also rebooted my laptop and tried again with the same result, seems like I have messed up good and proper this time!
Did you actually try Settings, WebHints, Disconnect from Ancestry?
