man kann immer nur 1 File löschen. Ich habe rund 6000 zu Löschen
warum kann man nicht mehrere mittels checkbox markieren und auf einmal löschen?
You can only delete 1 file at a time. I have around 6000 to delete. Why can’t you select multiple files using checkboxes and delete them all at once?
If the media is unused you can mass delete them. Go to Tools, Enhanced Properties list and run it. Click on View for Unused Media to select and delete.
To remove all media from RM you would need to export a GEDCOM and uncheck the media option.

because checkboxes not exist;
this would a very good feature 
es wäre nützlich, wenn “mass delete” auch für “Missing Media items” ginge

it is possible to delete using sqlite – but I suspect there is something else going on and you might not want to attempt that with out knowing the cause. I am thinking that many of those media items (different mediaIDs in the table) but refer to same file (maybe or maybe not in same location) do not have the same links for each & all.
