Timeline Report -- Information ADDED that is NOTE in fact

I tried running the Timeline report and selected the marriage of my dad and stepmom; Feb 16, 1946. It gave me her birth, christening, event I created ‘Engagement’ correctly, BUT on the marriage fact it put in the line “Note: HONEYMOON: Spend a week in New York City, New York, New Your” — there is NO MENTION of honeymoon anywhere in his or her profile and they did not have one. They did have a ‘reception’ the day after the wedding in New York, but never a honeymoon!

WHY did that happen? If it is adding ‘junk’ to folks — who else now has incorrect info when my RM7 database has been opened in RM10? Nope RM7 did not say honeymoon !!! (Pat)

You might try Search > Find Everywhere using a phrase from what you saw in the Timeline Report to see where that information is tagged.

Which it did, but there is no HONEYMOON fact or word in any sentence in the note field. Thus my confusion

I have only used the timeline once or twice . Not sure if I am missing something .
can you show a screenshot of what you are doing ? (the facts on persons edit screen and the timeline report ( Mask out sensitive info if present)

I’m not giving up on Tom’s idea of using Find Everywhere to diagnose the problem. Did you run a Find Everywhere just on the word honeymoon?

Well, I was wrong in that creating the same timeline report, the same HONEYMOON line cones up! Just never ran that report before to find it then … so it trnasferred to RM10. RM7 report does NOT FIND the word honeymoon anywhere. Will try RM10 in a few minutes!

Note note: After their HONEYMOON they moved in with my Dad’s parents. SO NOW, I need top go find those entries in both versions and I have not seen them yet!

Well, as usual, operator error! Getting old! Buried in a description about the wedding the word honeymoon was used and again !! in the note fact that they did not have a honeymoon (no money)!
Sorry for the confusion, but even my mom said they did NOT HAVE a honeymoon so why would I say that! Yes, she is alive and well, age 102! Living in Arizona with youngest sister!

Just starting to work, grudgingly, with RM10 so do not really know my way around yet! AND never remembered anything about them having a honeymoon because they did not! I used the term in a description field and a ‘note’ fact myself!!!

You have now solved the problem. But I would still point out that RM10’s Find Everywhere does find more stuff than did RM7’s Find Everywhere. RM10’s Find Everywhere searches the Description field and RM7’s did not,

There are still many places that RM10’s Find Everywhere does not look, but Find Everywhere is better in RM10 than it was in RM7.
