I have just established a Roots magic 8 account and have been unable to sync with family search. All people are being displayed however the linking icon doesn’t appear. I have clicked the settings LDS, Family Search Support, and the fifth box in the sequence. Am I missing something?
I am not sure what “fifth box in the sequence” refers to. Have you done either an automatch or find matches? FamilySearch Central
You don’t need the LDS option for this, unless you’re a church member, and want to do temple work. You also don’t need an RM 8 account for this.
What happens when you start FamilySearch Central? Does it ask for a password?
Note that the name and password that you can set in the hints section are independent of the sharing feature.
