I use slide-in workflow when documenting sources. I noticed that the left pane and right pane of the info tab can get out of synch after changing tabs within the Edit Person window if you are within the slide-in workflow. Specifically, the left pane remembers the details of the slide-in workflow state while the the right pane defaults back to the fact level info for the selected fact.
Steps to recreate: On the info tab of the Edit Person window, click the source (pen) icon to view citations. (Note that the same issue occurs if you were to click the media icon.) Highlight a citation and the right pane correctly changes to the appropriate Edit Citation details.
Next, change the Edit Person tab to any of the other options (Notes, Sources, Media, Health, etc) and then select the Info tab again. The left pane has remembered where you were at in the slide-in workflow process but the right pane has forgotten and displays the fact level details of the selected event.
It’s not a big deal but it can be confusing if you then select something from the right pane, such as the Media Fact item, because you are then presented with the elements at the fact level not at the level which the left part of the screen represents. (Using the example above, you are presented with 3 media items instead of 2.)
Ideally, the right pane would remember what it should display based on the selected item in the left pane versus defaulting to the Fact level.
btw, I just confirmed that this same behavior was also occurring with RM10. I only noticed it since the introduction of the new Source and Notes tabs.
