RM 9.1.6 nor RM10 will connect to Family Search or Ancestry

I am trying to connect RM 9.1.6 to Family Search but it wont connect. RM tells me my LDS fields are in progress but show up correctly in RM and at FS. I try to connect and get the message localhost didn’t send any data. This is happening with Ancestry as well. This problem has happened for 2 days now. Any ideas?

Apple, Windows or Linux?
have You closed all databases, closed the program, rebooted your system and can reliably reproduce the error message?

I have shut everything down, shut down my computer, rebooted and reopened the program. Same problem on two different days. I run windows 10.

Did you change anything in the area of security, like moving to another anti virus program, or did you activate something like a firewall?

The localhost message is typically from something block the port that RM needs to access. The first thing to check is your security software. Make sure you don’t have a VPN running.
