Hope you can see the difference. The left side is the Citations area and the text looks okay.
The right side is the side panel and the text is hard to read because pieces of the letters are missing.
I’m using 150% font scaling.
Here are 2 examples:
Lowering the font scaling helps, but then there is the problem of all the fonts being smaller than I’d like. So I’d prefer to use 150%.

I’m wondering if there is some formatting in that text. Was it pasted as plain text?
There isn’t any formatting. It appears readable on the left side, so why not readable on the right side?

I also noticed that when I scroll up and down in the area of the bad looking text, a different area looks bad. It only looks bad on the right side panel.
