Problems with Ancestry Treeshare

Hi,

I had uploaded my RM-Tree to Ancestry

But my grand-grand-father Josef appears in Browser list; but not in Ancestry.

What went wrong?

Don’t know what happened but I would look at the tree on Ancestry and see if any of his children or spouse are there.

Was your grandfather drag n dropped at some point from another database that was connected to a different Ancestry tree?

I have seen that 132 from 13560 Persons in RM wasn’t transferd to Ancestry.

It is not possible to add Josef manualy

A direct GEDcom Import to Ancestry was sucessful.

A reimport to a new RM Database is too risky for me.

How can I reach a full sync to Ancestry?

The connection to the other tree is still there. There are two options.

Drag n drop those individuals into a new blank database. Then go to Settings, WebHints and click on “Disconnnect from Ancestry tree”. Then delete them from the database they were dragged from. Replace them with the disconnected version. They will now upload to Ancestry.

The other option is to disconnect the whole tree and create a new Ancestry tree.

Don’t add your file here. We need you to open a support ticket. The support agent can send a link to upload the file if it’s to large to attach to the ticket. The file uploaded should be a backup.

I having similar problems. Uploaded to a new Ancestry tree and a bunch of entries were listed as missing on Ancestry. One by one, I clicked through them and hit “Add.” Today, though, I noticed that big chunks of my direct line ancestors are disconnected.

Run the database tools under File, Tools and then upload a new Ancestry tree. You can disconnect from the current one under Settings, WebHints, Disconnect from Ancestry tree.

das habe ich mehrfach versucht. Es funktioniert nicht.

Die Schnittstelle zu Ancestry sollte doch eigentlich mit einer integren Datenbank klarkommen.

Bei mir funktioniert auch das manuelle Addieren zu Ancestry nicht

Have you resolved the issue with people that you drag n dropped into the database that were connected to a different tree?

Have you opened a support ticket to have an agent look at the database and Ancestry tree? You will need to share a backup and the tree.
