I am trying to upload an RM10 tree to Ancestry from a Windows 11 PC.
I deleted my Ancestry tree and tried to upload the updated RM file but it keeps failing.
RM states:
The file is linked to an Ancestry tree, but your login doesn’t have access to that tree.
I’ve renamed my RM database and tried to upload but I get the same message.
I logged out of Ancestry and re-started RM10 but get the same result, any ideas?
Is there another way to upload other than Publish > AncestryTreeShare?
Joe
Did you rename? I believe you can not use a previously used treename even if you delete if I recall. Also need to disconnect RM tree in database
and I see Jerry is replying so I will let him advise
Kevin
Do a Disconnect. The Disconnect is not under TreeShare. Rather, it’s under WebHints.

Does
SETTINGS > Web Hints > Disconnect from Ancestry Tree
work for you?

Yes, I did rename the RM database, sorry I should have mentioned that.
Not sure how to perform the disconnect that you mentioned. I didn’t see that the RM10 manual
Disconnect and Reset are shown below:
Look at the picture in my message or the directions in kbens0n’s Start by clicking on the Settings icon on the far left of the screen. It’s at the bottom of all the other icon’s on the far left of the screen. Then click the Webhints icon at the top of the screen. Then click Disconnect on the left side of the screen.
