Places and Place Details

I would like to be able to add source citations to a place and place details. I have recorded information on a cemetery from a book published several years ago by a genealogical society, and would like to include this when I view place details. It isn’t online so I can’t add a web tag. For example, I added the GPS locations from the book along with the driving directions and would like to remember where I got this information for the future.

I have also been adding information in the place notes about the date the county was formed, parent county, county seat, boundary changes, etc. It would be nice to be able to add the source citations for these details as well.

It wouldn’t be quite the same thing, but couldn’t you just add the sourcing information to the place note?

It not sure how useful it would be to add sources to a place. I can’t see having footnotes on the Place List report. It’s probably best to add your citation in the place notes. Then it would always remain with the place and place details on the Place List.
