Profile photos imported from Ancestry do not retain attributes such as crop. If a cropped family photo is used for creating a profile image, the image imports into Roots Magic Pedigree as uncropped. Requires editing of many Pedigree photos. Is there a setting to allow photo cropping attributes to come over to the Roots Magic database?
No.
I don’t think Ancestry transfers the cropping information to RM. And even if it did, RM itself does not support cropping.

Despite having designed the database at least as far back as RM4 to support it. That’s 14 years gone by and you still have to crop group photos into separate files for each person… while competing software has had the feature for as long.
