People Groups Checkboxes

  1. was bedeuten die checkboxes linkss? was ist die zugehörige mögliche Aktion

  2. ist möglich für mehrere, selektierte Gruppen ein update durchzuführen (ich muss immer die lange Liste abarbeiten) ?

What do the checkboxes on the left mean? what is the associated possible action

is possible for several selected groups to perform an update (I always have to work off the long list) ?

the checkboxes mean that person belong to the groups checked.

You can manually check or uncheck. However if that group is a “saved” criteria group it will likely get updated on the next refresh of that group/

Let’s look at the bigger picture. There are really three ways to assign people to groups.

  1. You can assign them completely manually. That’s what the checkboxes are for. Doing it this way, it’s one person at a time. And for that one person, you can check them or uncheck them for more than one groups.
  2. You can have a rule, such as everybody born before 1900 or all the descendants of John Doe, and the rule is not saved. This is called a simple group.
  3. You can have a rule, such as everybody born before 1900 or all the descendants of John Doe, and the rule is saved. This is called a rules group.

Whichever way you do last takes precedence. For example, you can have a rules group and then do checkboxes. At that moment, the checkboxes take precedence and take over from your rules. But then if you tell RM to re-apply the rules for the group, the rules then take precedence again and take over from your checkboxes.
