I am new to RootsMagic but not to genealogy. [I had used TMG for years and switched to Family Historian.] I just downloaded the program over the weekend and am looking for the safest way to get webhints from Ancestry & FamilySearch. Is it possible to get webhints without downloading my tree [which is not nearly as extensive as what is on my computer] or uploading to either site? Thank you for any insight.
For Ancestry webhints, you have to connect one existing end to a new at the other end. If your RM database is more complete, then TreeShare upload to a new Ancestry Tree.
For FamilySearch webhints, you just have to enable LDS Support and WebHints in settings.
