Narrative Report locking

I have about 5000 people in my database and I am trying to create a narrative report for a cousin. When I try to do this, the program locks. I have run all of the database tools. I changed the Sources to No Sources and it still locks.

  1. At this point I am not looking for a lot of details in a report. What is a good report / chart to show a person’s ancestors, with siblings?
  2. How can I get the narrative report to run?

Couple things to try.

  1. Use endnotes instead of footnotes.
  2. Run the database tools under File, Tools
  3. Try a drag n drop of the database into a new one.

If those don’t work open a support ticket with a backup of the database.
