Just a tweak - remove OKAY button on FamilySearch Find Matches screen

This is a minor tweak. When paired with FamilySearch and adding a person from RM to FS the Find Matches screen has an OKAY button next to the CANCEL button at the bottom. The OKAY doesn’t do anything; it just acts like another CANCEL. I have accidently clicked it so many times when adding a person when I should have hit the Add to FS up at the top of the screen. My eye just gravitates to the OKAY. Please remove it since it has no function (except to make me redo the Add :face_with_diagonal_mouth: )

I’m not sure what Add button you are looking at? Everytime I see the OK or Cancel at the bottom both are needed. OK will perform the action selected above, and Cancel will close without performing the action. On the Find Matches tab there is only Close at the bottom. Can you give me a screen shot of where you are finding OK not needed?

If you hit OK here it just bounces you out, just like the Cancel button.

I can’t identify that window. What are the steps you took to get to it?

  1. click on FS tree icon for a person (a parent with a blue icon that has a child that I want to add to FS)

  2. on FS Person Tools select gray tree on the person I want to copy from RM to FS

  3. select OK on What Do You Want to Do with This RM Person? screen

  4. this takes you to the Find Matches screen that I sent a picture of

You have to tell the program what you want to do before you select OK. If you want to add them to FS click that then click ok

When you choose one of the buttons at the top they each will bring up another window. The OK button is never used on that screen.

Now I see it. The OK is for when there are possible matches and they have selected someone. Even if made conditional you would still have an Add button at the top and the OK and Cancel at the bottom.

I guess I never have possible matches so the OK just works as another Cancel button. Could the OK come up if there is a possible match and it is checked?

Confirming that request has been submit to development.
