I have a relatively small database with about 2,200 people. I want to make sure they all have some kind of source attached to them. Is there a way to check that?
Thanks

The basic and simple approach to find people without sources would be to do an Advanced Search where the criterion would be something like Source(general) > Exists > Is False. You could also make a group using this criterion or you could color code based on this criterion. You can do the same sort of thing for specific facts, such as searching for people whose birth facts do not have a source. The criteria would be something like Birth > Exists > Is true AND Birth > Source > Does Not Exist,
If you are looking for people with no sources at all, the more holistic approach would be to make a group as follows. First, mark everybody. Then unmark using the criterion Source(general) > Exists > Is true OR Any Fact > Source > Exists.
The people remaining marked would be the people with no sources at all. Doing a combined marking followed by an unmarking can often achieve results that simply marking alone cannot achieve.
The Fact List report has a list type: Facts without sources
Thank you for your help! I will give it a try
