Import stops for RM from FamilySearch, lots more to add

Hello, I’m a new to RM and discourse. I’m having an issue for the first time since using RM, and it’s involving import from family search. I’ve done so well on my mother side but for some reason on my father’s side, the paternal line will not go past the 24th grandfather /grandmother. I have loads more to come from FS. But it stops at grandparents 22. So I added 23 it still wouldn’t import further. I add 24th the same thing.
Both windows and RM are up-to-date. My computer is not going to sleep. There are no security violations or anything that would stop it. I get no error message. It even tries to complete and says it entered one person into the tree or sometimes it’ll state two people meaning my grandfather and grandmother for that line were added, but will not add children or go further.

To the best of my knowledge it looks like the information matches. There’s a small spelling error here and there but nothing that is anymore different than what happened on my mother side, which went so well so it’s a little confusing.
I’ve hovered over the alerts -symbols there are no issues. I hovered over and it states, it’s linked. I’ve gone well past my 37 g parents linked to my mother’s side. I just don’t quite understand why this is not working on my dad’s side?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance Kelli from Virginia howdy doing everybody hope everybody’s doing well.

Typically, the advice is to work using a fresh, blank separate database to accumulate generations, then normalize errors, before dragNdrop over to your master database.
But, you ~could~ do (as a test on limits):

  1. Backup your master database.
  2. Temporarily unlink the grandparents 22 generation from their parents.
  3. Try working from newly-unlinked grandparents 23 backward and see if the lessened number of tree generations (as a temporarily separate smaller tree) allows you to continue

That is very clever thank you so much. I really appreciate your assistance. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong but I see now that you have mentioned this investigating your idea it turns out that the names were indeed way off and it was not the right person so that was very beneficial. Thank you so much. It made me think better and look at it from a different angle kudos and bravo
