How can you add and change the files in the search result window? All I have is: Name, Sex, Rec#, Birth Date.

So go to People list and customize it by adding whatever you want and that will show up on the Search page
You mention “files”, but I presume Table Column Headers for the search results. Well, those column headings are just to display a few key differentiating identifiers for the filtered results. It’s likely not too efficient to not only search for the particular Find criteria AND THEN filter the people AND read all of their data AND filter all the possible data down to varying possible columns… so it just filters down to the people and has You highlight a particular individual and click Edit. There are other places in the program to use criteria to filter and present or save results, one being as nkess showed you.
