Custom citation not picking up format

I have two custom source Templates but the citations aren’t picking up the [Date:Year] in the short footnote. One shows the full date and the other is showing the coding.

Using RM 11.0.3 on Windows 11

[Series:Caps], <[Entry]>, [Date:Year]. <[Book], [Page]>, <[Jurisdiction]>.

Another template with the same short footnote coding is working correctly. I’ve reentered the [Date:Year] in both templates but neither one is working.

It looks like needs to be [Item date:year].

It will probably work just fine with a blank in the variable name, but I’m averse to such blanks. I would probably call it [ItemDate] or even just [Date] in the template.

You are right. The field is ItemDate. I don’t like spaces in the field names either and try to avoid them.
