I upgraded from RM7 to RM8 and most of my source citations now have both the citation name and page number duplicated. Everything is Free Form and obviously I don’t enter data the way the program would like for me to do.
Have to fix 11,000 citations, so want to be sure I do it right. Or can I ignore the duplication?
What should I do if I only have a page number? If I leave the citation name blank, RM8 puts the page number there and again, it is duplicated. (For purists, I put the details from the source in the notes, not in the source.)
With free form templates, just ignore the duplication. It does no harm, and it doesn’t really mean anything.
