It is requested that duplicate citations be identified by the endnote sentences themselves when the Reuse Endnote Numbers option is specified in reports. Or at least, let there be an option for the Reuse Endnote Numbers option to work that way.

This is to restore the test for duplication that is done in RM7 which compares the endnote sentences for duplicates. It appears that RM8 only considers “reused” Citations as duplicates. Users may tend to use one or the other or a combination of Copy-Paste or Copy-Reuse and all imported databases will initially have no “reused” Citations. The report generator should accommodate both kinds of duplication and integrate them under Reuse Endnote Numbers.
