So I decided to try using the MyRootsMagic online tree–I created an account-- clicked to publish a new website and it said your info has been uploaded but it may take a little time to completely show up on your web page..
So I waited 24 hours and was NOT able to access the site and nothing showed up under MyRootsMagic
As I was signed out at that time–I tried signing back in and it wouldn’t accept my username and password, so I hit forgot password–it was suppose to send me an email–it did NOT ( tried twice on this)–so I created another account using the same user info and password-- this one does work if and when I get signed out—upload the tree again and again it gave me the same message
SO HOW LONG DO YOU HAVE TO WAIT? as I can NOT access it nor is it showing on MY ROOTSMAGIC when I hit publish..
As for accessing using
http://sites.RootsMagic.com/tree2
I have tried 3 browsers and it gives me a 404 NOT FOUND ERROR
Now I know that you have to
- use http only NOT https
- the URL is CASE SENSITIVE
Problem is that when I put http://sites.RootsMagic.com/tree2
and hit enter it changes it to
https://sites.rootsmagic.com/tree2 with an s on http and a small r and m in rootsmagic
note Google drops the http but also changes the r and m in rootsmagic
I did disable Always use secure connections in google and it still does NOT work
