Hi, I’m new to the community but I’ve been a RM user since RM3 in 2006, can’t believe its now 20 years! I have recently been trying to upload my tree to MyRootsMagic, I’ve tried numerous times over the last few days and seem to go through the process satisfactorily and at the end I receive the following message
As you can see from the background my site is not listed and trying to go direct to the site via a browser gets a error 404 site not found message. When I go through the process again my web address is still available which I think suggests that it hasn’t loaded previously. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, for info I’m using RM11 latest version on windows 11.
it might be under a different email. The email reset was not working so you either have to open a ticket to have it resent for you or contact Renee (if under different email).
I have published several updates past week or so so it was working for me.
You might want to try closing program (naturally if possible vs task mgr) re open the program and go back to MyRootsMagic and logon again. If recall the site name you can also try opening in a browser
I have been through the whole process several times and end up with the same result every time. It says my information has been uploaded, but has it? On some of the attempts I clicked the ‘check availability’ button next to the web address input and every time it said the address was available. thanks for your help
The program and the computer have been turned off between the various attempts which occurred over several days. Using the web address in a browser still returns the site not found error. Thanks for your thoughts
