Does it matter which parent you add a child under?
As long as the parents are both entered, and neither has another spouse/partner, then no, it doesn’t matter. Once you get into the data entry window for adding the child, there is a toggle at the top to switch between spouses, to make sure you are entering the child under the correct set of parents.
I find it easier to just use the “Add Child” button in the list of children in the Family View (or where the list would be, if none have been entered yet). That way I can make sure the correct parents are both showing above.
