I’m having trouble getting RM 11 (Mac) going.
I downloaded RM 9 and 10, but I am not sure if I ever had RM 10 up and fully running

It would help us advise you if you gave us a clue as what your problem is.
My experience on a Mac is that the various versions of RM - versions 9, 10 and 11 certainly - can be installed at the same time and appear as separate applications in the Applications folder.
The only tricky area is to make sure you that you keep the data files - those with the rmtree extension - separate for each version. Best practise seems to be to set up a completely different set of folders for each version and make sure your program settings point at the correct set of folders. For the data folder, just copy the contents of the RM10 version to your new RM11 folder - or at least copy just your latest working file.
