Transferring four RM databases into one and removing duplicate people and information

I have been using RM since number 3 and I do not want to mess it up now.

I would first backup each database.
Then Color code each one a different Color.
You can then Drag & Drop database B into A (being your final one).
Then D&D database C into A.
Then D&D database D into A.
Make sure you have the RIN turned on as that will help with Merging Duplicates.
Run the Duplicate Report and keep track of the Manual Merges (You may have many for 1 person.
Which version are you using now?

Before any individuals are matched and merged in the destination database, a helpful and effective thing to do is …go through the Place list completely standardizing and merging all duplicate place names.

I just downloaded and installed Roots Magic 10 last night while taking the class.
I believe I have several back ups of each database, they are dated/numbered.
Color coding, I have not used that function, yet.
I don’t know about drag and drop, yet. The letters are confusing.
RIN have been turned on from the get go.
Duplicate Report and Manual Merges.

If I follow your instructions the next couple of day, I should be GOOD?

You have 4 databases - A, B, C, D - I don’t know the actual names so I used letters.
Read up on how Drag & Drop works before you start.

Watch the video on Color Coding.

Do as kbens0n suggests - Fix these Places in Each database First.
