I have databases in RM9m Ancestry.com and My heritage. Importing gedcom files has resulted in duplicates and triplicates. How do I eliminate dups? Had to avoid? When is it best to import files? Still building my trees in My Heritage and Ancestry.

Just for clarification – is your plan to do ONE time merge of the 3 or will this be ongoing?
As far Ancestry – you can download Ancestry directly in to RM and that should prevent GEDCOM duplicates from Ancestry.

You will need to Merge the duplicates (make backup first) and make any necessary edits.
Avoiding dups - don’t combine files into 1 database rather have your Main database and create other databases and use the Compare feature in RM ie: Main database in RM, create a RM database from gedcom so you will have 2 databases to compare.
