RootsMagic 11: Customizing a footnote with free form template. Entered the footnote and hit okay and it took me back to the info page as usual, but the new footnote didn’t show up. I had done this a few dozen times and it worked perfectly, and suddenly the next one just disappeared as though I’d never typed it. I did the “reset to default” and tried again and nothing. Did it several times (because of course the next time it would work ) but nothing.
About the same time, when I click on the sources page, it doesn’t start at the top of the list as I want it to and it has been, it starts in the middle of the “c” sources.
Any idea what I probably turned on/off inadvertently?
Glad to hear that they have heard about the starting point for Sources. It’s annoying the way it is!
I ran the database tools twice yesterday and once after you answered (because everyone knows “Third Time’s the Charm,” right?) this morning. Didn’t help. However, I saw that a new update had been posted for RM 11, and it seems to have at least made my typed footnotes and sources show up on the info pages and stay there.
