To exclude the CENSUS fact from printing, edit the CENSUS fact type and uncheck the appropriate flag under “Include when:”
Depending on where you want to see the sentence you could use AI to combine all the census events into the format you are wanting. For example, create a narrative report, save it to text, ask AI the remove all the census events and combine them and then place the result in a particular spot in the report.

THat is a very interesting suggestion. I use AI quite a bit. I may try that and see how it works. Thanks for your response.

This is exactly what I did years ago to stop the census facts sentence from printing. Of course I forgot how I did it. 
AI can be used for many things - though sometimes you have to “educate” AI what to do or not to do. I only get annoyed when it tells me there is a problem with “my” code and I inform it “no no .. that was the code you gave me (or revised for me)”
