Is RM10 (10.0.5.0) the most current version? From the Home page I have updated to 10.0.5.0 an it shows I am up to date. But I’m having problems with other aspects of the Home page so I just want to make sure this is current.

Also I have 4 ‘News’ items going back almost a year ago. The most recent message is from 8 months ago. There are only notices of RootsTech 2024 and nothing about 2025. With RT just a couple of weeks away, I would have thought there should be some messages about that. And I can’t make these 4 messages as read. I’d like to delete them, but don’t see how to do this.

Am I current? And how do I delete old messages that I’ve already read?

Yes

You can’t, only RootsMagic can without resetting everything to the original download and even then they will reappear.

Yes the latest news is 8 mos old. It is a feed from
http://blog.rootsmagic.com/

You can only mark the messages as read (checkmark control), not delete them.

Home tab ~ News pane ~ Title bar ~ Checkmark w/circle around it.

Thanks to all. Answered my questions. But, wonder why they are not saying anything about being at RootsTech this year.

Maybe scrambling to get something demonstrable ready to show. New features in a RM update or RM 11? A new product or an upgrade of other outdated RM software such as Family Atlas and Personal Historian.

Probably so. But the clock it ticking! Only 2 weeks til kick-off!
