today i was looking to old programs, if i could delete this in my windows, and i see that there are 3 version’s of Rootmagic installed, i wat thinking that when you upgrade the software it automatic the older version would delete. can i with no problem delete the older versions ?
You probably do still have RM10 installed. You will need to uninstall it if you didn’t select that option when installing the upgrade. For some reason when updating it was leaving older copies of RM11, maybe happened in RM10 too. Uninstall RM11 completely and the two RM11 files should be gone. Now when you install it will just show the one.
If you installed RM11 on a drive other than the ‘C’ drive, the upgrade would have installed to ‘C’ Program Files and left your original installation (V 11.0.0.0) on whatever drive you installed it on. Happens to me regularly! You can just drag and drop the contents from the ‘C’ drive RM folder to the other drive folder and overwrite if that is yourpreference.
