This afternoon I applied the 10.0.3.0 RootsMagic update on my desktop computer. Now some of my source citations appear scrambled. After that I opened the exact same .rmtree file on my laptop, which still has 10.0.2.0 and the same sources look fine. How do I go back to 10.0.2.0 on my desktop?
Meanwhile I did open up a support request with RootsMagic.
RootsMagic downloads an installer to your default download directory (when performing an upgrade), so your laptop should have a RootsMagic10SetupX64.exe (or RootsMagic10SetupX32.exe) file for 10.0.2.0 still intact. Uninstall is typically the same as any other program.
Thanks, that worked! I was able to uninstall, then reinstall from the setup program on my laptop. I was worried it might be an upgrade-only installation program, but that was not a problem.
