When you import a tree from Family Search or Ancestry do the sources import also or do you have to go in and individually add them all? I tried importing a small section of my tree from FS but it shows no sources.
The import from FamilySearch only imports the people, not the sources. You have to go back to get the sources one at a time. Notice that it’s not “your tree”. It’s a common tree of everybody in the world and you are only importing a small piece of it.
The initial import from Ancestry imports everything from your tree on Ancestry. After that, if you add people or sources to Ancestry, the import is very manual, one item at a time.
