RM11 on Win 11 Pro HP 255 Laptop. Two screenshots attached, one of RM9 which is okay and then same thing with RM11, which isn’t okay. Any ideas? My font size is set on 115 on RM9 and 110 on RM11; and my settings for the laptop are normal, i.e. I haven’t increased the view or font size. The two orangish pictures are cut off in RM11; half the guy’s forehead is cut off in the grey picture in RM11.
In the sentence before this quote - RM9 font is 115 while RM11 is 110 so make RM11 font 115 and see what happens.
OR make RM9 font 110
I changed RM9 to 110, no problem. I changed RM11 to 110, then to 120, then to 100 and the pics are still squished no matter what.
I noticed the same thing. The person’s image cropped. Not all but a lot of them. I think the tall ones are cropped but the more square ones are ok.
Thank You! Glad to know its not just me. Maybe those over a certain size are automatically resized to fit a space allotted. If someone could just verify that. . . .
you call it squishing the picture–what I am seeing is that the one on the left is a close up of the same picture..
I added random photos to my RM 11 test base and it is very noticeable on all BUT especially on the one with 4 people — the wedding photo and the little girl turned the wrong way..
The wedding photo–right side shows 8 people-- left side shows 6
4 people in photo-- left side shows only 2 kids
little girl turned sideways-- you don’t see her face..
Added the same pics to my RM 10 test database and you are correct-- they show the same on the left or right side
I had added another photo that the pixelation/ size was 480X449–26.6 kb and that didn’t seem to change much-- the wedding photo is 4000x1824–2 MB as a size reference
edit–if you decide to play around with the size of your photos, make sure to make a copy of the original and change the copy-- as it MIGHT mess up your original ( make it less clear etc) and you can’t change it back…

I really don’t want to have to resize photos for RM11. The photo of the man whose head is being cut off is 22.6 Kb and 137 x 193 pixels (1.9x2.6 Inches). The female photo is 93.9 and 750 x 1186 pixels (5x8 inches). It’s not like they are huge photos. Obviously there is a glitch in the system. How do/can we get it fixed? Its the one thing that is keeping me from changing over to RM11. I love being able to see the sources for each individual, but not at the expense of the media being skewed.

Thank you. I notice you tagged Renee @rzamor1 in your 1st response, so I’ll wait to see if she comments one way or the other. Right now I’m trying to straighten out my media files.
It was intentional by design, supporting user requests. The purpose isn’t to give a great, detailed view of the picture but to give an icon, a representative. I believe it is now using Crop-to-zoom. Which I personally think looks better.
