Is this my problem, or an issue with RM 11? A double line is displaying.
did that only happen only? it looks like an artifact (display) issue very true double line.
was the double line there if you close and go back in to same person?
More unusual is the text below the doubled place name, that reads:
Marital Status: Single Relation to Head: Daughter
As kbens0n states, the text below the Place.
I am guessing that the âMarital âŚStatusâ is actually in the Place line but past the word âNew Yorkâ.
Delete the entire Place (leave blank) and see what happens.

Iâve had that as well directly after installation. It is gone since the update.
I think that relates to the 1930 census fact below the birth fact, which itself is overwritten. So maybe more than 1 issue?
Yes, the double line remains. I went back to my RM9 database and it is there in V9 also. I havenât checked other people yet to see if it is consistent across more than this person.
Iâm guessing that is from the residence fact.
Oh. Interesting. Yes that removed the âdouble lineâ. What that tells me is that the space under details is not large enough to contain the residence information, so it âoverflowsâ. This, so me is an issue. The box for the details should be large enough for all the details, or I should be able to adjust the size of the box. Does anyone know if this has been reported before?
It happens when you have too much data in the Place field ⌠meaning you have city, co, state followed by too many spaces and then more info.
I think that is what happened in your case.
You had no information in the Place Details to display.
It looks like you have Marital Status, address, 2nd Assembly District all in the Place field. That should go into the Notes section.
Place Details is usually the address, or hospital, church, cemetery depending on the Fact.

On the Fact Type Listâs Birth fact enable the description field to see whatâs in it. The Fact Type list is on the People page under the Lists menu.
That information is in the Description field - I have nothing in the place details field. Place is city, county, state (I didnât put any extra spaces after the state):
I did your suggestion, and there was no change.
When Iâve seen odd things like double text appear Iâve typically found one of two things. Either a graphics issue on the computer, or the database is inside a folder syncing to the cloud, like OneDrive, GoogleDrive or Dropbox.
If you open a support ticket with a backup of the database we can see if we have the same issue.
I use an external hard drive (so that I can take when I go somewhere). I havenât found this âdouble textâ issue yet on any other person, but I have 551 people in this particular database and obviously havenât looked at each one.
