I have found that an Association report (Individual) in RM10 does not present the results by date which seems odd given that they are entered by date.
I found the thread Customized reports: Sorting by date and notes so I designed a report myself.
I included the instruction to sort by date as per screen shot (and only the year is in the date field in this small example database) but the results still appear out of order. Any ideas?
Just to be sure - they are valid dates (no spaces or other characters)?
I would also try exporting to Excel if that is an option for you

Yes they are all valid dates. Exporting to Excel (csv and xlsx) gave me unsatisfactory results as the data did not occupy separate lines. In fact the Word report I did earlier consists of a table with only 2 rows.
Is the sort col you are using same as the one one report?
(you can select diff ones)
Not sure if the SORT DATE info impacts custom reports.
It looks like you have only one person selected for the Custom Report. Each person has their own row with all their information listed. If he has 4 associations they all appear on the one row in separate lines. If you included those 4 individuals on the report you would get separate rows for their associations. Those would import into Excel better making them sortable. You will want to include a Name row so you can see who’s association the row is for.
There is an issue with the custom report sorting by any of the association fields. Instead it is sorting by the person’s name. Inside each person’s row it is sorting by order the association was entered. These issues have been reported to development.
For just one person the Association List (Individual) is a better option.
