Relationship descrepency

I think RM is slight off with these two relationship and the path to MCRA is one off.

RM is showing 10th cousin 2x removed but actually is 9th cousin 3x removed
also 11th cousins 1x removed is actually 10th cousin 2x removed

this not for just one or two people – but seems to be for all of them

additional info – this might be why is some cases

seems RM is calculating the 10th cousin path to be shortest path ? vs the lower # generation for MCRA maybe. (11 vs 12th Great grandparents I believe)
