Hello. I’m brand new to the forum, so please excuse any faux pas. Does anyone know how to create a Descendancy Chart that shows bloodline only…in other words, it would not show adoptees, or other non-bloodline persons? Thank you!
Iirc, RM descendancy reports follow the parent-child connection last selected in a main view. If a child has only an adoptive parent connection, I don’t think it can be hidden in any way other than severing the adoptive connection either by exporting only the direct line descendants to another file for reporting or temporarily cutting it within the file. Perhaps adding fictional blood parents and setting them as the default would deliver what you want.
Even with a pure blood line only database you would still have an unknown spouse showing up. The child is linked through the descendant’s spouse.
