Hi I’m new to this community but not new to RM and Ancestry.
I recently created notes in a fact (occupation) in RM and uploaded it to Ancestry. I can only see the title in Ancestry and not the content.
I’m also having difficulty in uploading some photos to the same person and fact.
Any help would be appreciated.
Ancestry doesn’t have a note field so we have so send it under “Other Sources”. If you click on it, it will open so you can view the note under “Other Information”.
If you are opening the “Other Source” and don’t see your content, you might want to check for <> characters. In the past, Ancestry did not respect these tags when sent across treeshare and did not display anything after the “<”. You could see that the characters were sent by RM by clicking on the edit button within the Ancestry citation window.
