You must leave FamilySearch Central open for it to update that changed list. You can do nothing else in RM while its updating. On the first screen shot the “People changed on FamilySearch” is the 4th item down.
While some of us may be aware of the need to keep open – that is not something the average user is going to know. There should be an alert box. Also for a large db and slower connection it might take a long time.
I’m not sure where you would show an alert for that. It is mentioned in the first paragraph on the Help page.
yes, agreed and that was part of my point. Even if a user read the help file they could missing it. I guess the alert might annoy some users. A banner or ticket might work, Not easy to implement
